New Stores for Flying Tiger

Traditionally this time of year is very busy in the retail property world, with clients and contractors pulling out all the stops to ensure stores are open to maximise the pre-Christmas trading period. As online shopping on Black Friday has grown in importance, so the need for bricks and mortar retailers to have a vibrant high street presence to sustain interest in their brand, has also grown. This date has become a key pre-Christmas opening deadline for the sector.

This year one of our long-standing clients. Flying Tiger is keeping the excitement high by opening two more stores, one in Eastbourne and one in St John’s Road, Battersea. These come hard on the heels of a new store in Lakeside in November.

We are proud to work with them on pre-acquisition surveys, helping the team make informed decisions about where to site their new stores. We also provide store layout design and full project management, including tender management and a regular on-site presence up to handover to the retail team.

Over the last decade Flying Tiger has become a major player on the UK High Street and their expansion plan has been going from strength to strength. Good luck to the two new teams as they open their doors this weekend! And just to prove that the retail industry, and Tiger in particular, never stands still, there are already new 2 new stores in the pipeline for January on site.
